Things To Do on Navarre Beach

There are numerous and diverse ways to spend your visit while vacationing at Navarre Towers 302 on Navarre Beach. You can have a relaxing retreat away from all the crowds, opt for a more adventurous high octane trip, or mix it up a bit to take full advantage of all Navarre Beach and the Emerald Coast have to offer.

Navarre Towers 302

Relax and enjoy the view and comfort of your slice of paradise on the Gulf of Mexico. You don't really have to leave the condo to have an incredible get away. With plenty of space and amenities, you may not want to leave.

Navarre Beach

Located right out your back door, lounge on a beach chair under an umbrella on the Emerald Coast letting the stress of the world slip away. Two beach chairs with umbrella setup by beach attendant daily from March through October are included in the rental of NT302.

Navarre Towers Pool

Cool off and soak up some rays in the largest pool on Navarre Beach. Plenty of chairs and chaise lounges. Heated seasonally when night time temps average above 60°.

Sunrise on Balcony

Begin the day with a majestic view of the sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico. Early morning is the best time to see the dolphins up close to the beach.

Breakfast at Sailor's Grill

Grab a cinnamon roll, sticky bun or full breakfast to energize your day overlooking Santa Rosa Sound.

Take a Stroll Along the Beach

Miles of beach to the west and a short walk to the Navarre Pier to the east. Find the perfect sand dollar while shelling.

Navarre Beach Fishing Pier

Stretching 1545 feet into the gulf, walk the longest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico. Admire the great view of gulf, Navarre Beach, and the marine life below. This is a great fishing spot to drop a line to catch the big one. There is a nominal fee to walk the pier and additional daily/weekly fishing licenses available to purchase.

Lagerheads at the Navarre Fishing Pier

Relax with a cold beverage at the newly renovated outdoor bar at the Navarre Fishing Pier overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There is also food service for a quick bite and a small gift shop with souvenirs and t-shirts.

Jog, Walk, Bike or Scooter

The bike path extends from the causeway westward along Gulf Boulevard through the Gulf Islands National Seashore into Pensacola Beach. Bikes and Scooters can be rented at several locations along Gulf Boulevard.

Gulf Islands National Seashore

This is one of the most scenic drives in the United States. Managed by the National Park Service and just to the west of Navarre Beach on Gulf Boulevard, you can experience the unspoiled coastline of the Emerald Coast extending for miles. There are turn offs and parking along the way. The National Park Service charges a nominal fee for parking/use of facilities. The drive through the seashore is free of charge and is a much more leisurely way to drive to Pensacola Beach.

Tennis at Navarre Towers

Try your hand at a friendly game or challenge your rival to a championship match on the newly resurfaced tennis court at Navarre Towers. There are a couple of tennis rackets and possibly a few tennis balls for your use located in the Master Suite closet. (Reopening Fall 2014)

Shuffle Board and Basketball at Navarre Towers

Take advantage of the new sport court at Navarre Towers. (Coming Fall 2014)

Sand Volleyball

On the sound side of the island at Juana's Pagoda/Sailor's Grill at the end of the Navarre Beach Causeway you can join a game or rent your own court. You can also see the sun set over the sound and cool off with a cold drink from the bar and get a beach side bite to eat at Sailor's Grill.

Panhandle Butterfly House

Located just across the Navarre Beach Causeway on the mainland, you can take a guided tour through the wonderful butterfly garden and learn a bit more about butterflies and gardening from the expert docents at the Butterfly House. This is a great adventure for the little ones. If you do have little ones, you can also take advantage of the park with playground and splash pad located on the same grounds. Open Thursday - Saturday to the public 10:00 am - 3:00 pm beginning in late Spring running through the end of August. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated.

Thursday Concert in the Park

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors an annual concert series featuring local bands. The concerts are scheduled weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm beginning the end of May running through mid-August. A local food vendor will provide refreshments available for purchase. The concerts are at Navarre Park which is located on the mainland at the corner of Navarre Parkway and the Navarre Beach Causeway.

Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary and Artificial Reefs

Snorkel or dive the near shore man made reefs on the Santa Rosa Sound or Gulf side of Navarre Beach. There are three reefs, 2 in the sound and one located in the gulf. All three are very close to shore and accessible from the beach. The sound side reefs are designed for beginners and the gulf side reef is for more seasoned snorkelers and divers. The reefs are located at Navarre Beach Marine Park on the East end of Navarre Beach.
